The Kenmore East Track and Field Team concluded the spring 2024 season with a trip to Alden for the Section VI Championships. A total of 33 Bulldogs competed across 14 different events. Four Kenmore East athletes and one relay won sectional patches for finishing in the top 4:
Senior Connor Christia - 2nd place, pentathlon
Freshman Madi Kopec - 3rd place, 400m hurdles
Senior Anthony Miccichi, Senior David Lang, Junior Quentin Wilbon, Junior AJ Battaglia - 3rd place, 4 x 100m relay
Junior Jaden Jackson - 4th place, 110m hurdles
Junior Amelia Morris - t-4th place, high jump
The Bulldogs also saw top-8 finishes from junior Christian Dumas (shot put, 6th), senior David Lang (long jump, 6th), 8th-grader Sam Clark (3200m, 7th), the boys 4 x 800m relay (Clark, junior Brendan Smukall, senior Evan Chapman, and freshman Aiden Wilson; 7th) senior David Lang (triple jump, t-7th), and senior Jorja Smith (2000m steeplechase, 8th).
