    Shared Vision:

    The Ken-Ton UFSD Office of Data, Accountability and Assessment (ODAA) aims to cultivate a culture of teamwork, responsibility among all stakeholders, and honesty in our data usage, with the ultimate goal of leveraging data consistently and effectively to drive school change and improvement.

     

    Our Mission:

    The staff in the Data, Accountability and Assessment office believe that accurate and timely data is essential to leading school improvement efforts.  Our mission is to support the staff and administration in the use of student and staff data to inform decision-making in student learning, professional development at the classroom, building and district levels, and by supporting school and district leaders in the development and implementation of School Comprehensive Education Plans and the District Comprehensive Improvement Plan.

     

    Our Goals:

    • We will provide student data that informs and guides the development of curriculum, instruction, and assessment;
    • We will lead effective implementation of systems for the collection, analysis, reporting and use of student data at all levels;
    • We will continue to monitor and refine established processes and procedures that will ensure high standards for data integrity and analysis;
    • We will ensure that all student and staff data is maintained and reported in accordance with state and federal requirements;
    • We will accurately inform the district’s data strategy and guide the use of data for continuous improvement; 
    • We will produce user-friendly, relevant, and timely reports and data visualization for all district, state, and community customers;
    • We will provide support and leadership in the administration of NYS 3-8 Assessments, NYS Regents exams and all other state and local assessments used for district or school accountability measures;
    • We will facilitate easy access to data systems while protecting personally identifiable information;
    • We will provide ongoing professional development in the use of data analysis protocols; efficient use of our student information system reporting and management capabilities and effective school scheduling.
