• KENMORE-TONAWANDA IS PLEASED TO OFFER CANVAS LMS ACCESS TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS!

     

    Parents and guardians who are eligible for an Observer Account in Canvas are able to see assignment details, quiz information and scores, and any supplemental learning materials housed within your students' Canvas course(s)! These accounts are called "Observer Accounts" in Canvas. 

     

    Important Notice:  In order to have an observer account created for you in Canvas, you must be marked as a Legal Guardian for your student(s) in our student information system, Infinite Campus. To protect student privacy, we will not be creating accounts for any persons who are not listed as legal guardians at this time.

    HOW TO ACCESS YOUR PARENT CANVAS ACCOUNT

    STEP ONE:  Before you can log into Canvas as a parent, the following information is required:

     

    1. LEGAL GUARDIAN STATUS:

    You must be listed as your student(s) LEGAL GUARDIAN in our student information system, Infinite Campus. If you are not marked as a legal guardian, a Canvas Parent account will not be automatically created for you.

    2. INFINITE CAMPUS USERNAME:

    You must have a login to Infinite Campus. If you have not logged into Infinite Campus with a username and password as a parent, you will not be able to log into Canvas, as you need the Infinite Campus username to access Canvas.

    STEP TWO:  Log into Canvas using your Infinite Campus username

    1. GO TO THE CANVAS PARENT LOGIN PAGE

    Navigate to www.ktufsd.org/canvas to access the parent login page.

    2. ENTER YOUR UNIQUE USERNAME

    Your Canvas LMS Username is the SAME as your INFINITE CAMPUS USERNAME. As stated above, you need to have an Infinite Campus login in order to access Canvas.

    3. ENTER YOUR UNIQUE PASSWORD

    Your Canvas LMS Password is your Infinite Campus Username PLUS the number 1500 (the password is case sensitive). For example, if your Infinite Campus username is "SuzYSmith" then your Canvas Password is "SuzYSmith1500".  If you have issues with your password, click on Forgot Password to reset it.
