3/12/2024 UPDATE: The proposed budget amendment reallocates unspent funding for teacher and staff salaries and benefits for Crossroads Academy and Summer School. This will address students’ learning loss resulting from the COVID-19 Pandemic. Funds will also be allocated to pay for playground equipment at Edison Elementary School. Funds are also requested to pay for supplies/materials required by our district for cleaning and disinfection to reduce the spread of the virus, as well as to purchase additional Chromebooks for student use.

On March 11, 2021, the President signed into law the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP). New York State has been allocated nearly $9 billion in ARP Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds.
