May 21, 2024 Budget Vote & Board of Education Election

  • VOTING RESULTS:

    • Proposition 1, the proposed 2024-25 school year budget, was approved by voters (yes votes: 1,006; no votes: 313).

    • Proposition 2, the proposed supplemental capital project, was approved by voters (yes votes: 1,114; no votes: 238).

    • Proposition 3, the proposal to rename the Kenmore East Natatorium, was approved by voters (yes votes: 1,128; no votes: 209).

    • There is one term on the Board of Education that will begin July 1st, 2024 and end June 30, 2027th. The seat will go to the candidate who receives the highest number of votes. The candidate who received the highest number of votes was Fred Floss, who received 1,160 votes. He ran unopposed.


    The proposed 2024-25 Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda Union Free School District budget will be presented to voters at the 2024 Budget Vote & Board of Education Election, which takes place Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Hoover Middle School (use the Sheridan Drive entrance). Voting Information

    • Voters must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years of age or older, and a resident of the district for 30 days prior to the vote.
    • Those who are not registered to vote will need to complete an affidavit confirming that they are a qualified voter.
    • Photo identification and proof of citizenship, age, and residency are required for those who are not registered.

    Absentee Ballot Information:

    • Contact the District Clerk at (716) 874-8400 ext. 20342 for an absentee ballot application.
    • Those on the permanent absentee ballot list do not need to apply for an absentee ballot.
    • Applications must be received no later than seven days prior to May 21, 2024.
    • Absentee ballots must arrive no later than 5 p.m. the day of the vote on May 21, 2024.
