Patrick Towey, a music teacher at both Kenmore East and Kenmore West, has been chosen as chorus master for Buffalo Opera Unlimited's upcoming production of "La Bohème".

"La Bohème" is a production by Giacomo Puccini that inspired the hit musical "Rent" and tells the story of starving artists facing the cruel realities of poverty and ill health. According to the Buffalo Opera Unlimited website, the opera will be sung in Italian with English surtitles.

The production will take place on Friday, December 1st at 7:30 p.m. and again on Sunday, December 3rd at 2:30 p.m. on Buffalo State University's campus.
