An opportunity for musicians grade 6-12 to participate in an orchestra outside of their district. Members must go through a yearly audition.

This organization sponsors Solo Festivals, Choral and Instrumental Festivals, All State Honor Choirs and Instrumental Ensembles, as well as Music Educator Conferences. We are very lucky to have such a musically active state and NYSSMA plays a huge role in promoting music education in our schools.
