This summer, percussionist Ian Saccomando traveled to Sydney, Australia as part of the Honors Performance Series program. After a busy week of rehearsals and sightseeing, Ian performed in a band with students from all over the world on stage at the famous Sydney Opera House. A student of Kenmore East Orchestra Director Laura Jay, Ian is the third Kenmore East student to travel with the Honors Performance Series. Other participants were flutist Maddie Manzella who traveled to Sydney in 2019 and cellist Katie Lawson who traveled to Vienna in 2022. Great job Ian!
