Art Career Pathways

  • The Ken-Ton School District Art Department is proud to offer two Art Career Pathways at both of its high schools, Kenmore East High School and Kenmore West High School. Both pathways represent a dedicated course sequence of core courses and electives with opportunities for advanced certification/diploma designations.

The Fine Arts Pathway provides high school students with advanced and in-depth study in the visual arts, encompassing multiple forms and media such as drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, illustration, and animation.

The Media Arts Pathway provides high school students with a foundation in the digital media arts in preparation for a multitude of careers in a wide variety of areas, such as advertising design, graphic design, animation, and digital media.

Below you will find a summary of each Art Career Pathway. For more information about individual courses, please visit the Course Handbook.
