The history of the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District dates back to 1892 with the opening of the Kenmore Union School, also known as School No. 6. The district was designated as Union Free School District No. 1 after the opening of Kenmore High School in 1911. Frank Densberger was the district's first Superintendent, leading Ken-Ton Schools from 1915 to 1953.
The following individuals have served as Superintendent of Schools. The portrait of each individual who has served as Superintendent hangs in the Administration Building at 1500 Colvin Boulevard.
