Gennie Vitko is an amazing advocate, parent, community member, and district leader. Gennie has been actively involved in the leadership of numerous groups including the Kenmore East Music Boosters and parent/teacher organizations at several different schools. Gennie has five children who have attended Kenmore East, Franklin, Hoover, and Edison, and she has been actively involved in the leadership of parent groups at each of those schools.

Gennie is a steadfast supporter of our students and programs. She has been instrumental in coordinating so many fundraisers through the years and has volunteered at countless school events and activities. Her children currently attend Franklin Middle and Kenmore East, so that is where she is currently involved the most, but ask the administration and parent organizations of any of those schools, and they will speak to the legacy that Gennie has left as a volunteer and parent supporter. She has devoted countless hours of her personal time to making our community better and helping the students of Ken-Ton.
