Rebecca LaRoach, Hoover Middle School Counselor

Mrs. Rebecca LaRoach has worked in Ken-Ton Schools for almost 20 years as a school counselor dedicated to the students she serves as well as the school community. Becca is an integral part of the Hoover Middle School Foundations team and has masterfully organized several school-wide behavior incentive events such as Minute to Win It, Silent Disco, and grade-level roller skating parties for our 700+ students. Crucial in developing and implementing our master schedule, Becca is meticulous in making sure sections are balanced and logically placed. Her coworkers admire that Becca is hard working, solution-focused, and has an ability to get any student to engage in a conversation. As an added bonus, she bakes the most delicious birthday cakes! With all of her operational strengths, it is her love of students and their love of her that led to this recognition. Students have shared over the years how she helped make them better, happier people. She has a special talent for designing creative motivators for students that appeal to their unique interests. They love her almost as much as her beautiful family does.
