Katie is an invaluable asset to our school community, going above and beyond to support both students and staff. As an RTI reading specialist, she brings patience, kindness, and a deep commitment to helping students grow. Her dedication has transformed reluctant readers into confident, engaged learners who find joy in reading once again. Beyond her work in the classroom, Katie has been the driving force behind our school’s Veterans Day celebrations for years. Her ability to organize, plan, and execute such a meaningful event is truly astounding, creating lasting memories for students, staff, and veterans alike. Katie’s willingness to step in wherever she’s needed—whether subbing for a teacher without hesitation or fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment—exemplifies her hard work and selflessness.
