Deborah O’Neil, Hoover Middle School Teacher Aide

Teacher Aide Deb O’Neil has worked in the Ken-Ton Union Free School District for 14 years. In that time, she has worked at Roosevelt, Kenmore West, Holmes, Franklin Middle, and Hoover Middle. Currently, Deb runs our copy room but has had many titles in the building. She is willing to do anything to assist in the day-to-day work of making sure students and staff have a positive experience at school. For example, she sometimes helps cover in the office, and is currently cross-training for Single Point of Entry coverage. Deb works alongside students from our 12:1:3 class, who assist her with logging bus arrivals each afternoon. Her coworkers share that she is willing to help at the last minute, always positive, and creates a welcoming space for colleagues. She is caring, kind, and always thinking of other people.
