Azaun Jansson, Franklin Middle School Student

Fifth grader Azaun Jansson  exemplifies all the tenets of Franklin Middle REACH - he is responsible, excels in his academics, is safe and respectful. Azaun is a huge Buffalo Bills fan. He loves playing basketball and video games. One area that we focus on at Franklin  Middle not only in our REACH tenets but also on Thursdays is kindness. Azaun exemplifies what we believe in. This year, he has gone above and beyond what we expect. He welcomed our new student from Russia into his 5th grade cohort. He gives him a huge hello and high five each day, makes sure the student feels included, and helps him with anything he may need. He says he knows what it is like to feel like being the new kid and wants to make sure his new classmate feels welcomed at our school. Azaun is friendly, positive, and compassionate.
