Lisa Mitchell, Lindbergh Elementary School Teacher

Lisa Mitchell is such an enthusiastic, loving and creative teacher. She never does the same thing year after year. Lisa always provides meaningful activities and lessons for her students. She has such an incredible rapport with her students and they respond immediately to it. She speaks to her children in a way that makes them stop and completely tune in. Lisa is always looking out for the students' best interests. She treats her students with such respect and care and they give it right back to her. She consistently holds her kids to such a high standard of behavior and they know what is expected of them. If a student has a hard time meeting her expectations, she has a soft yet firm way of rectifying the problem without judgment or embarrassment. Lindbergh is so lucky to have Lisa Mitchell as one of its teachers.
