Alex Bianchi, Franklin Elementary School Teacher

Alex Bianchi is truly an amazing asset to Franklin Elementary. He is enthusiastic, hard-working, caring, easy to work with, willing to try new things, and always puts the students first. He is an exceptional teacher – a true superstar! He goes above and beyond what is expected. His energy and love for learning are apparent in everything he does, including managing his first grade classroom, serving as a representative on district committees, providing technology-rich lessons for his students, creating school-wide opportunities to observe and visit his animals along with the ducklings he hatches, coaching extracurricular activities such as Boys on the Right Track, inviting former students back to participate in after school clubs, showing support for therapy dogs, teaching students how to care for and show appreciation for classroom pets, and serving as teacher leader on the PTA. As a colleague, he uplifts the staff and Franklin community by being personable and inclusive. All in all, the people at Franklin would describe Alex as a natural teacher who goes above and beyond to create lessons that are genuinely engaging. He is also applauded for his willingness to jump in and help plan or organize fun events for the whole school.
