Anthony Scime, Kenmore West High School Student

Anthony Scime has been a Theatre West student for 4 years and is a student NYSTEA member. He has developed his talent and has performed on our stage in 6 productions.  Most recently he held a lead role in our Spring production of “She Kills Monsters” and his performance was exceptional. Anthony has been involved in the Shakespeare Competition, 24 Hour Plays and Improv Club.  He won this year's Kenny Awards for Outstanding Acting. This honor included a $1000 scholarship to continue his theatre education!  Anthony is a dynamic, hardworking, talented and kind young man.  He is a wonderful  mentor to the younger Theatre students and finished his Capstone Project by directing a One Act in which underclassmen were cast.  In the fall, he will be attending Niagara University as a Theatre major, where based on his college audition,  he was awarded the NU Theatre Departments highest recognition, the John J. LaFalce $5000 theatre arts scholarship.  He will continue to follow his passion and develop his talent. We are very proud of this young thespian!
