Jennifer Krieger, Hoover Middle School Teacher Aide
Teacher Aide Jen Krieger always has a smile on her face and is so positive with the students she works with. Jen has worked in many roles as a teacher aide since she was hired in September of 2007, and recently requested to shift her focus to working with the Reading Interventionists, as she has a deep interest in supporting literacy development. Jen demonstrates great flexibility by working with 8 RTI providers and assisting students daily in many different rooms. One teacher said, "Having Jen Krieger in the room is like having another teacher with students. She knows what the kids need, and is able to assist students to achieve so much more in reading and math. On Wednesday she reaches out to many families, to keep our students on-track and engaged in school. Jen is an intelligent, dedicated flexible team player." Another teacher said, "Mrs. Krieger has gone above and beyond to help students online and in the classroom. She is encouraging and positive with some of our students who struggle the most, and she is able to inspire these students to remain engaged and succeed." A colleague noted, "Jen is a friendly, kind, positive person. Last year, when I was a new employee, she was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Every time I see her she is smiling and interacting with her students. Jen is a true role model in the HMS family." Congratulations, Mrs. Krieger!
