Rick Scaduto, Kenmore East High School Art Teacher

Awesome facts about Rick Scaduto:

• He has taught in KenTon since 1993: 26 years
• Worked in advertising agencies previous to teaching
• Is an amazing painter!
• Helped secure and implement the IB programs at both Kenmore West and Kenmore East
• Recently became a grandfather
• Has been the Kenmore East Art and Music chair for over 20 years
• Created the diversity mural on the front porch at KE
• Created several public art pieces with students, including a Statue of Liberty painting on display at Kenmore East; a sculptural diarama of Main St, which was on display at the Family Court building in downtown Buffalo; the Kenmore East 50th anniversary logo; the Kenmore East official logo; and the new Human Resources logo and signage at the district administration building
• Rick was instrumental in starting the Art Multimedia Labs at both high schools, and also creating the Media Arts Pathway for high school design students
• He has helped countless students achieve their goals and given them guidance and support throughout the years
