Lynne Pernick, Edison Elementary School Teacher

Edison is happy to share Lynne Pernick as our BOE Recognized teacher. Lynne is always willing to try new things. She approaches challenges with a positive attitude, and works collaboratively to see the work to completion. Lynne goes above and beyond for her students as well as for the school community. With an effortless teaching style and pragmatic approach, her peers constantly seek her opinion and guidance. Mrs. Pernick serves on multiple District and School Committees and Task Forces, including the Math Vertical Team, Literacy Team and several career option II projects.  Even with this curricular commitment, Lynne values most her time with her students, actively participating in evening activities as diverse as Fall Festival and Bedtime Stories Night. When new initiatives are introduced, she is always steps out of her comfort zone to learn and grow, with the caveat that it will benefit students. Lynne Pernick is a smiling and calm educator who impacts the Edison Community with her enthusiasm and positive attitude present in every lesson.
