Jessica Fink, Kenmore East High School Student

Senior Jessica Fink is a student who is absolutely deserving of school board recognition. Science teacher Mr. O’Connor states, “Jessica is in my IB Biology class and just glows when she comes to class. She is the type of person who initially prompted me to go into teaching. Jessica is a student who works hard without complaining, taking a task to the next level, while at the same time asking probing, critical questions that will allow her to understand a concept at a deeper level. Jessica is kind-hearted and is always willing to help another student if they are struggling. I look forward to having Jessica again this next year, and more importantly, look forward to her huge smile that can brighten a room.” Aside from being an excellent student, Jessica is an outstanding athlete as well, running track and cross country for Kenmore East High School, where she is a captain. Jessica is also musically inclined, where she is in the Wind Ensemble and Treble Chorus. Jessica has received numerous awards at Kenmore East, as she has been recognized by her teachers for her various accomplishments. She is in the top 10 percent of her class, yet she remains very humble and caring. She is a pleasure to work with as a student who represents the ideals of the Ken-Ton School district, as well as Kenmore East.
