Kenmore East World Language Department Celebrates Students

On March 20th, the Kenmore East High School World Languages Department held the Induction Ceremony for World Languages Honors Societies. In order to be selected for these prestigious honors societies, students must have at least 90% in their world language course, a GPA of 85% or more, and pursue further studies in their languages. There was a candle-lighting ceremony followed by a reception. The following students were inducted:

German Honors Society:

Seniors who pursued their studies in world languages through senior year and who had been previously inducted into the honors societies were given honor cords. These cords symbolize their commitment to learning world languages and the respective cultures. Students will wear their cords at the graduation ceremony.
