A legendary local band and five talented musicians will see their names in the Kenmore East history books as the newest inductees into the Kenmore East Performing Arts Hall of Fame inductees.

The Class of 2025 includes:

• The Tweeds, a legendary local band who had two hits reach the top 10 in WNY. They were also inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame in 1990
• Derek Heckler, Creative Director
• Christopher Swist, professor of percussion. He was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame in 2024.
• Bill Todd, instrumentalist
• Elizabeth DeFelice, nationally-recognized pianist
• Susan Marshall Petersen, cellist

A ceremony will be held in the school’s auditorium on Friday, April 25th at 7 p.m.
