On Monday, March 3rd, Section VI held its annual Unified Bowling Tournament where schools from across Western New York came together on the lanes to compete and have fun! The event was held at Airport Lanes in Cheektowaga.
The Kenmore East and Kenmore West unified bowling teams were both in attendance, with each team performing exceptionally well!
Kenmore East placed 1st in their division. Two athletes were also recipients of special awards: Bella Urso who earned the Sportsmanship Award and Julianna Janis who received the Character Athlete Award!
Kenmore West placed 2nd in their division! Two athletes were also recipients of special awards: Lily Foglia who received a Character Athlete Award and William Seal who earned the Sportsmanship Award!
We'd like to congratulate both teams for having incredible seasons. Way to make us Ken-Ton proud!
