Two Kenmore girls swim team members are Section VI champions! Heather Malkiewicz and Amelia MacKinnon each won their respective races in the Section VI Class A swim meet in early November. The meet was held at Sweet Home High School and featured the best swimmers and teams from the area.

Heather, a junior at Kenmore West, finished 1st in the 100M breaststroke and capped off another incredible season.

MacKinnon, a sophomore at Kenmore East, finished 1st in the 200M freestyle. She also wound up earning a place in the New York State Championships where she finished 14th overall in the 200M freestyle and recorded her best time of the season. It was her 3rd appearance at the state championship meet.
