Ken-Ton Hosts 23 French Exchange Students

From October 12-21, students from Kenmore East and Kenmore West hosted 23 students from Western France. The exchange is part of a partnership with St. François d'Assise High School in La Roche-sur-Yon.

During their nine-day stay, students enjoyed visits to Niagara Falls, Niagara University, the AKG Art Museum and a tour of Downtown Buffalo. One of the highlights was going to the Homecoming dance since this was a new experience for them.

They also enjoyed many of the fall and Halloween activities in the area with their host families, and were able to experience many American dishes at the potluck dinner with the host families in the cafeteria at Kenmore West.

A total of 19 Ken-Ton students who hosted students from France will travel to La Roche-sur-Yon from March 28th-April 4th. They will explore many local attractions, spend time at school, and experience French culture and cuisine. The last two days will be spent in Paris visiting many famous attractions.
