Ken East Alumni Assoc. Announces Hall of Distinction Inductees
Kenmore East High School and the Kenmore East Alumni Association are proud to announce its 10th Hall of Distinction Inductees.
This year's honorees include:
- Ron Plesh (Class of 1964): Entrepreneur, President Plesh Industries
- John Peters (Class of 1974): US Army Lt. Col (retired)
- Herb Knoll (Class of 1968): Bank Executive (retired), Author
- Dr. Gene Robinson (Class of 1972): Professor of Entomology, Director Woese Institute for Genomic Biology
- Dan Starks (Class of 1972): Chairman, President, CEO of St. Jude Hospital (retired)
The Kenmore East Hall of Distinction was established to honor former students who have exhibited those values, qualities, and characteristics traditionally held, fostered and encouraged by Kenmore East High School.
To qualify for consideration, the nominee must have graduated from Kenmore East at least fifteen (15) years ago and has not only influenced others, but has also contributed significantly to his or her community.
The ceremony will take place on May 3rd at 7 p.m. in the Kenmore East Auditorium. It's open to the public at no charge.
