BP Student Featured in D'Youville Kavinoky Theatre Production

Amara Gomez, an 11th-grade student in the Ken-Ton Big Picture Program at Kenmore Junior/Senior High School, recently performed as part of the D'Youville Kavinoky Theatre production of "What the Constitution Means to Me."

The 2017 play, which was written by Heidi Schreck and was originally nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play and the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, ran from September 8th to September 24th.

This was Amara's first time performing at the D'Youville Kavinoky Theatre but she is no stranger to the stage. She has performed in numerous other productions including performances by the Ujima Company, Raíces Theatre Company, and Kenmore East High School, and she has also taken part in theater/comedy programs at Shea's Performing Arts Center.
