Colosimo, Anzalone named Buffalo Business First All-Stars

Two Ken-Ton students are being recognized by Buffalo Business First and Independent Health as part of the 16th class of Community All-Stars. Kenmore East’s Maria Colosimo and Kenmore West’s Charles Anzalone were chosen by their respective high schools for their leadership, service, and impact on their local community.

Colosimo is the Kenmore East student representative to the Ken-Ton Board of Education and is heavily involved in school clubs and organizations. Her high school resume includes President of Best Buddies and Dance Club, yearbook editor, and captain of the girls’ soccer, indoor track, and lacrosse teams. Outside of school, she teaches Sunday school and helps with community diners.

Anzalone is an honor roll and National Honor Society student who helps lead the “Link Crew” at Kenmore West, a group who assists underclassmen in their transition to high school. Outside of school, he’s involved with organizations like Meals on Wheels and the Kenmore Lions Club.
