Several Kenmore West Band members are being recognized for their performance at the Darien Lake Music Competition!

The event, which took place on Friday May 26th, saw Kenmore West musicians take home several honors.

The Wind Ensemble, conducted by Ken Belote, took 1st place in the AAA Division.

The Blue Devil Big Band, conducted by Laura Anderson, took 1st place in the AA Division, won the Grand Judges Award, earned Outstanding Saxophone Section, Outstanding Rhythm Section and Outstanding Trumpet Section. Soloist awards were given to Jack Gradzewicz on the alto saxophone, Everett Gianni on the baritone saxophone, and Heather Malkiewicz on the piano.
