Kenmore East, Franklin Middle Welcome New Principals
At the June 14th Board of Education meeting, we were extremely excited to welcome two new principals: Mr. Trevor Brown, who was appointed Principal of Kenmore East High School, and Mr. Marco Galante, who was appointed Principal of Franklin Middle School!
Mr. Brown is well known in the Kenmore East school community and very familiar with the school's history, mission, and traditions. Mr. Brown served as a longtime social studies teacher at Kenmore East and as Kenmore East Assistant Principal from 2018 to 2021 prior to assisting at Kenmore West in this capacity earlier this year. Mr. Brown has served in many other roles at Kenmore East including chair of the Hall of Distinction Committee, a member of the School Safety Committee, Model UN advisor, district Varsity Rifle coach, and an International Baccalaureate (IB) Program advisor.
Mr. Galante has successfully served in several district leadership positions including Assistant Principal of Hoover Middle School (2018-2022) and School Support Specialist at Franklin Elementary School (2016-2018). Additionally, he has 8 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher followed by 4 years in leadership positions within the Special Education Department. Mr. Galante is also active in the community as a volunteer for Hunter's Hope, Kelly for Kids Foundation, and the PTA.
Please join us in welcoming Mr. Brown and Mr. Galante and wishing them luck in their new roles!
