West Fest 2019

On Monday, June 17, the last full day of school before the start of Regents Exams, Kenmore West High School hosted its first-ever West Fest event spearheaded by Kenmore West teachers Charles Panepinto and April Owczarczak.

The event was made possible by the hard work and support of the entire Kenmore West faculty, staff, administration, and community as well as donations from individuals and businesses.

It was an incredible fun-filled day and the first event of its kind which hopefully will become an annual tradition at Kenmore West. Students were treated to hot dogs, slushies, popcorn, and a variety of fun outdoor activities including a dunk tank, slip-and-slide kickball, crafts, sports, team activities and competitions, and much more.

Kenmore West staff all came together to make sure the event was a tremendous success with staff supervising and coordinating activities, serving food, and ensuring that all students had a wonderful time.

Click here to see an amazing performance by staff who kicked off the day's events and surprised students with a flash mob in the gymnasium to Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk":
