Gr. K-4 Technology Information for Students Returning to the Classroom
-
April 21, 2021
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Now that our students in Grades K-4 will be returning to the classroom for live instruction every school day, we are making some technology adjustments to better support their learning.
We are asking that ALL Group A, Group B and In-Person students in Grades K-4 return their iPads / Chromebooks on Wednesday, April 28. Please be sure to return the charger and charging cable as well.
Students in Grades 3-4 will be given a new Chromebook when they return their current device. hey will be expected to bring this Chromebook home on a daily basis for use with homework assignments and be expected to bring it back each morning fully charged for use in the classroom. They should bring their charger back and forth daily as well.
Students in Grades K-2 will not be keeping district-provided devices at home anymore and will complete all of their technology related assignments at school.
We will be following up prior to April 28 with more information about the Chromebooks and related policies and procedures.
Very truly,
Eon Verrall
Director of Technology Integration
