    Vice President


    Lesley Battaglia is in her third year on the Board of Education and first year as Vice President. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Buffalo State College and a Masters in Education from the University at Buffalo. She has been a social studies teacher for twenty-nine years in the Williamsville Central School District, currently teaching at Williamsville South High School where she has been since 1996. In addition, she is a member of the College Board’s Advanced Placement U.S. Government & Politics Test Development Committee and holds a leadership position at the annual scoring of AP U.S. Government & Politics exams. The New York Council for the Social Studies named her High School Social Studies Teacher of the Year in 2008. She was the treasurer of the Kenmore West Softball Booster Club from 2013 to 2018, and currently is an officer in the Ken-Ton Sports Hall of Fame. Mrs. Battaglia and her husband, Brian, have lived in the Ken-Ton School District for their entire lives. Brian and their two daughters, Hailey and Zoe, are all graduates of Kenmore West. Both daughters received International Baccalaureate diplomas.
