 Session II

 July 24-August 3

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Program Information:

The program features instruction in English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Study Skills, and Sciences. There is a great deal of importance stressed on attendance, study and organizational skills, self-awareness of learning styles, and study techniques. The program has been designed to give students more tools for a successful high school experience. Instruction is provided in a small-group setting.
New for 2017,  Students who live 1.0 miles or more from Kenmore East High School (350 Fries Road, Tonawanda, NY 14150,) are eligible for district transportation. Buses will  transport students prior to the 8 a.m. start time, however to give all students equal access to transportation, buses will not be leaving Kenmore East until after the regular High School Summer School dismissal time at 2pm. Yes, Stepping Stones dismissal time is still 12pm. Students always have the opportunity to ride their bicycle as well. Bike racks are located outside of Kenmore East on Fries road.

If your family would like to take advantage of the district transportation opportunity (either just to Kenmore East in the morning, and/or after 2pm as well,) before 8am on Monday July 3, please fill out the Stepping Stones Transportation Request Form below.

This information will be forwarded to the transportation department later that morning, and they then will be orchestrating a secondary (middle and high school,) route and offer various pick up and drop off sites throughout the Town of Tonawanda and Village of Kenmore as needed.

If you have any questions about transportation, please direct them to the district transportation department at 874-8611 after 8am on Wednesday July 5.
