    HERBERT HOOVER MIDDLE SCHOOL PTA

    Dear HMS Families-

    Partnerships between parents, educators and children enhance children’s success. We know that children learn more and have better lives when everyone in the school community shares thoughts and information and works together on projects to benefit children.
    The HMS PTA hosts multiple programs and events that benefit the children at our school. Last year some of the these included:


    ·         7th Grade T-Shirt Design Contest
    ·         Halloween Costume Contest
    ·         Scholastic Book Fair
    ·         Staff Appreciation Week


    We are always interested in adding more to your child’s educational experience and for this school year we are planning on continuing these great events and more with the following:


                5th Grade Uno Tournament TBD
                6th Grade Game Night TBD
                7th Grade Dance and moving up ceremony TBD

    Family night TBD

    By becoming a member of HMS PTA, you can become an important part of helping to ensure that these plans become a reality. We also welcome your new ideas for the benefit of our children.

    OTHER EASY WAYS TO SUPPORT THE HMS PTA
    ---Dash's Receipts - there's a drop box in the HMS cafeteria. For every $1,000 in receipts, Dash's will donate $25 to our school and it really adds up!
    ---GiveBacks - when you become a PTA member, sign up for GiveBacks to earn money for HMS on the online shopping you do already anyway
