    What is Junior Achievement?

            Junior Achievement is a not-for-profit organization that serves young people through its partnership with the business and education communities. Its purpose is to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise, business, and economics to improve the quality of their lives.

     
        Junior Achievement has developed programs for elementary, middle and high school students. 
     
     
    It's My Future:
          7th graders participate in the It's My Future curriculum during FACS class. This program provides practical information about preparing for the working world while still in middle school. Concepts include, career clusters, career mapping, resumes, goal setting, skills, ad working environment. Students will learn the skills of analyzing information, reading for understanding, self assessment, working in pairs and groups.
