Welcome to English 7

I am excited to be entering my 25th year in Middle School and I am glad that you and your child are here to share it with me. 

I believe that communication is key to your child's success.  For that reason I hope you come back to this site often to keep current with what we are doing in class. Check the calendar for updates about special days, assessments, or early release days.  Review class policies on the ELA 7 page. 

I also hope you check my gradebook through Parent Portal. You can see live information about what has been turned in, grades that have been earned, and what needs to be turned in following an absence. Follow directions at https://www.ktufsd.org/grades to set up a parent account or log in with your child often to review progress. Your child can log in with his or her 9 digit student code as his username and the first letter of first name, first letter of last name followed by birth month, birth day and birth year. For example the password for Sally Adams with a birthday of December 25, 1968 would be sa122568.
