Franklin Elementary Teachers Recognized by Buffalo State Univ.

Franklin Elementary teachers Alex Bianchi and Rachel Nati have both been recognized for their dedication and commitment to helping the next generation of teachers.

Bianchi, a first grade teacher, and Nati, an 8:1 special education teacher, were both honored at the Professional Development Schools Conference held at Buffalo State University on October 4th. The two received the "2024 Buffalo State Professional Development Schools Leadership Award", in honor of their work as PDS Teacher Liaisons.

Ken-Ton is a proud partner of Buffalo State University's PDS program, with a handful of our schools welcoming Buffalo State student teachers to assist in our K-12 classrooms. The goal is to assist student teachers in exploring their classroom options after graduation, and hopefully, welcome them back to Ken-Ton as full-time teachers.
