Summer OpportunitiesDaemen University Summer Programs- Physical Therapy Summer Insitute- July 22nd-26th- 9:00 am- 4:00 pm-Earn (2) college credit and a $1,500 scholarship to Daemen! Rising Juniors and Seniors will have the opportunity to study PT at our State-of-the-Art laboratories with hands on learning experiences provided by our award winning Physical Therapy Faculty. Lunch and Snacks included! The cost to attend is $300.Register at daemen.edu/visitAnimation Academy- Two sessions! July 8-12th & July 15th- 19th- 10am-2:30- pmHigh school rising sophmores, juniors and seniors! Learn the fundamentals of animations--using the same tools the pros do! This one-week Summer camp, taught by Animation Professor, Jim Hulse and Disney Animator, Mike Jones, will teach you everything you want to know about how to animate your imagination. You'll create a portfolio of your own animated movies to use in your college applications or just share with your family and friends. Register for week 1 or week 2 or register for both weeks and get more advanced instruction in your second week. The cost to attend is $300 per session. Register at daemen.edu/visitKaleida Health Long Term Care- This summer opportunity is for High School students (ages 15-19). This program is for 8 weeks starting July 18-September 1, 2024. Students will volunteer 1-2 times a week for a 3 hour shift with the Recreational Activities Department, assisting with things like games, crafts, and other social activities with the residents. Deadline is June 1, 2024.
