The Kenmore East Indoor Track & Field team continued its season as the majority of the team travelled to Youngstown State in Ohio. Competing as the 716 Track Club, Bulldog athletes set three new school records and earned several more spots on the team's all-time record board.
Leading the way for the boys was senior John O'Connell, who broke the school record in the 200m (23.75), finished in 8th in the long jump, and ran a leg on the 4 x 200m relay which finished in 7th place (1:36.11). Senior Nick Coburn finished in 4th place in the high jump with a clearance of 5' 10'' and was also a member of the 4 x 200m team.
For the girls, junior Grace Czyz broke the school record in the weight throw (30' 3'') and was the team's top finisher in the shot put (29' 6''). Junior Maddie Fox set the school record in the 800m (2:38.49), while sophomore Jamie Ricotta and senior Heather Basso moved into the 2nd and 3rd-best in school history in the same event (2:48.97 and 2:49.27, respectively).
