East & West Compete in 2nd Daytime Unified Basketball Game

On Monday, May 20th, the Kenmore West and Kenmore East unified basketball teams played against each other in the 2nd annual daytime unified basketball game. This year's contest took place in the Kenmore West gymnasium with staff members, classmates, friends, and family in attendance.

Kenmore West junior Abigail Holmes performed the National Anthem before the game, while the Kenmore West cheer team and the Kenmore East dance team kept the crowd entertained during timeouts and at halftime. The Blue Devils wound up winning this one, but there were plenty of smiles on both sides of the ball from start to finish. Kenmore West's Avery Plante and Kenmore East's Jordan Cannarozzo were awarded MVP honors following the game!

Also in attendance were two Ken-Ton elementary special education classes from Hoover Elementary and Holmes Elementary! Students cheered the teams on throughout the game, and were able to then stay and ask the athletes some questions.
