Happy Homecoming in Ken-Ton Schools for Soldier's Family

Soldier hugs daughter as family looks on

It was a very exciting day for Thomas LaRussa's class at Lindbergh Elementary School. After lunch, the students were gathered in the library for a reading of "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Day" when fourth-grader Iliana Pabon was surprised by her father who has just returned to Kenmore after a nearly year-long deployment to Afghanistan.

It was a complete surprise for Iliana as well as her older brothers, Uvani at Hoover Middle and Pedro at Kenmore West, both of whom were surprised by their father at their respective schools earlier that day.
