The Edison Elementary library is finally back open!
The school's media center has been closed since May 2023 due to ongoing capital project improvements and work throughout the school. With the library space housing the school's main office and nurse's office since May, the school's librarian, Dan Gattuso, has been traveling from class to class for instruction. The school also had the Buffalo Erie County Public Library Bookmobile come out every other week from September-November, so kids could continue checking out books.
With the school's new main office and nurse's office completed earlier this year, Gattuso and his library staff were able to move back into their space with some upgrades! There's new flooring, a new ceiling, a new presentation board, new bookshelves, and more!
