Earlier this month, the Kenmore East High School Chamber Singers received a "Gold with Distinction" rating at the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Major Choral Evaluations at Williamsville East High School.

This is the highest possible rating a choir can receive from the state, and this is the fourth consecutive year that they have received this distinct recognition.

"The students sang with control, maturity, and passion, and I am extremely proud of them," said Kenmore East choral director Jill Neuhaus. "One of our judges even stated that she was 'proud to know us and proud to hear us.' "
