Edison Elementary Students Enjoy Fifth Annual Pumpkin Run

Students holding pumpkins

This was the fifth year for the annual Thomas A. Edison Elementary School Pumpkin Run! More than 275 students, along with their families, gathered on the front lawn to celebrate fall, fitness, and community togetherness. Participants completed two full laps around the Edison campus, which equates to almost a full mile. Runners were able to each pick out a special mini pumpkin for his/her participation, while the first-place runners from each grade level were treated to a uniquely designed first place pumpkin.

First-place winners were Louis Morris (fourth grade), Tyler McKenzie (third grade), Colin Criddle (second grade), Connor McKenzie (first grade) and Dorothea McMahon (kindergarten).
