Kenmore East Announces Newest Performing Arts HOF Class
The Kenmore East Performing Arts Hall of Fame has announced its latest induction class of 12 talented individuals. The dozen honorees, all graduates or educators of Kenmore East, will be honored during an induction ceremony in April.
This year’s honorees include: Margaret “Peg” Brady-Kim, a top costume mistress; Jeffrey Criden, a record promoter with Warner Brothers Records who’s known for promoting bands such as Fleetwood Mac and The Who; Larry Dubill, a band director; Dave Jordan, a sound & lighting expert; Bill Kothen, owner of Select Sound Studio; MaryJo Brancato Leslie, a STAGE Producer and director; Gary Race, a touring actor; Paul Staley, an accomplished organist; Robert Strauss, a director/conductor/arranger; Carol Jean Swist, a performer and member of “Big Wheelie and the Hupcabs”; John Vogt, a performer/director/instructor; and Barb Keller Yendall, a barbershop quartet champion.
This will mark the 6th induction class since the Hall opened in 2011. The induction ceremony will take place Friday, April 21st at 7pm in the Kenmore East High School auditorium. The ceremony is free to the public.
