KE Grad Matthew Bressette Receives Music Directors Award
Kenmore East High School graduate Matthew Bressette did a wonderful job performing the National Anthem at the July 1 Board of Education meeting, as he has done at several Special Olympics and school sporting events.
After his performance, Kenmore East Band Director Phil Aguglia and District Music Coordinator Laura Anderson were proud to award Matthew with the Ken-Ton School District Directors Award in recognition of his passion, dedication, and the joy he brought to his school and band program.
Matthew, a member of the Kenmore East Class of 2019, has played trumpet since fourth grade and is leaving behind an extraordinary legacy at Kenmore East.

The award was signed by every one of Matthew's music teachers from kindergarten through 12th grade, including Anderson who was Matthew's very first instrumental music teacher in fourth grade.
