Disney's "Lion King Jr." is a shortened, junior version of the Broadway musical that brings the Savannah and jungles of Africa to life, incorporating much of the beloved music of the original movie. This quintessential coming-of-age story of a young lion named Simba who flees into exile after the murder of his father, the King of the Pride Lands, is perfect for audiences of all ages.

Leading the production is director/music director Ciaran Krueger, assistant director Amanda Regan, choreographer Sean Murphy, and stage crew director Ed Clinch, with production assistance by Julie Moore and Debbie Mayer. The show includes 84 students on stage and 18 students behind the scenes and as part of the stage crew.

The show was originally scheduled to take place in January but was rescheduled due to the Jan. 30-31 winter storm. All tickets previously sold will be honored.
